Friday 7th Good Friday

Early start and beautiful sunny morning. All 5 on top of hill munching away. They were all walking too slowly to spot a limp but seem well. 

Trough full and gate still cordoned off. Happy Easter 😊

Hi there, all 8 cows spread out a bit near entrance and up hill a bit. Trough isn’t leaking now but still hear filling. Perhaps they just drank from it? Many leaves in trough and would be good to know the best way to clean it out, is it just hands in and grab? I don’t want to make it worse. One cow (fluffy ears, no visible tag) lying down but not chewing cud, just doing nothing. This cow has a dry nose, seems ok. I made him stand and walk, all ok. I have just never seen a cow do nothing before, is that normal? Photo attached 😊 Happy weekend
